Rock Salt –
Salt, one of the few ingredients which plays major role in almost all dishes. Even though used in small quantities, entire taste of a dish depends on it. Fine rock salt is perfect substitution to white chemical induced salts. Add a pinch of it to your meal to bring out the flavours. It goes well with roasted vegetables, seeds and nuts; or with popcorns. Combine this salt with sesame, coriander and cumin seeds, with a few ground black pepper corns for a delicious savoury homemade sprinkle. It also works wonderfully in a mortar and pestle with fresh herbs or dried spices.
